Importing Generic Microarray Expression Data in GESS

Generic Expression Data File Importing

GESS imports expression data file generated by outside pre-processing software. The Generic Expression Data Import Engine works by taking each input text file from the designated column on the spreadsheet and creating a single output expression (.ges) file for each array or column of expression data in the input text file. The .ges files are used in further statistical analyses. Multiple files may be imported on a single run of the engine. The import engine is very flexible, importing almost all possible file formats with various delimiters. Box plots and summary statistics are output for quality assessment.

System Requirements
Runs under Windows Vista, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, 95 compatible Pentium-class computers with at least 32 MB of RAM. Requires 200 MB of hard disk space. Requires Adobe Reader® version 7 or later to use the NCSS, PASS, and GESS Help Systems.
